A message from our Pastor

NOW ONLINE ONLY TILL FURTHER NOTICE

Dear church,

I saw this quote from a fellow pastor this week: "Churches are not being closed, buildings are being closed... Church is not a building, you are the Church. Remain open."  That is so good!

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE we will not have large physical gatherings at our campus but will be streaming to you online.
The services will stream at our regular church times, 9am and 11am on Sunday PLUS we are adding a 1pm online service.  During online services, you’ll be able to interact in chatrooms with our pastors and submit prayer requests. There will be a time to worship together and I’ll be bringing an encouraging message to you from the Word of God. The online experience is going to surprise some of you. It's going to be really good! This is an opportunity for Journey Church to rise up like never before! If you know someone who needs a church family, invite them to join you!

Tech Setup Help
If you’re “technologically challenged” and need help getting set up to stream our worship services online, download our app, or give online, you can physically come to the church (750 E Mingus Ave in Cottonwood) during the following times and we’ll help you get set up. We’ll be ready to help you Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm to 4pm.  If you’re technologically challenged, you’re not alone! We’re here to help.

Prayer
If any of you need prayer, we want to partner with you. You can also submit prayer requests using this simple form, call the church office or if your are comfortable making it public you can share it on our FaceBook Page.

Giving
The Church is alive and well! We have opportunities to minister now like never before! Ministry at Journey Church is not slowing down during this season but, in fact, it is speeding up.  And just as driving faster in your car burns more fuel, faster ministry means more fuel needed.  Thank you for supporting this ministry. Many of you already give online, but some of you do give in-service and we need your continued support in this season. Giving online is easy and fast. We can help you make the shift from in-service giving to online giving at any time. If you need assistance setting up online giving we can help.  You can also always physically mail your tithes and offerings to us at 750 E Mingus Ave., Cottonwood, AZ 86326  You can also come by the church during our regular office hours to drop off giving or get help with online giving. Thank you for being faithful in your giving!

Project Rising Hope Food Pantry
If you are struggling with food, know we have a Food Pantry open Tuesday from 12noon to 6pm.  Don’t hesitate to take advantage of the support that’s available. If you want to donate food to our food pantry, this would be a great help. There is a drop box on the north side of our church property where you can drop off non-perishable foods at any time.

Journey Youth
Journey Youth will meet through Facebook Live on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. We don’t want them only connecting through negative social media but want to counterbalance that with positive input. They can subscribe to the Journey Youth Facebook Page and on Instagram for regular content throughout the week.

Stay Connected
Make sure you are in the Journey Church Facebook Community Group and join Journey Church Facebook Page.

Please share this information and help us connect people as much as possible! It's time for us to stick together. Please call a friend, offer an encouraging word, and pray together.

God is good, and we're going to get through this! It's going to pass. We need not fear, because God is in control and He works all things together for good!

God bless you,
Pastor Jeremy Peters
