Up to This Point

What do you do when life takes a turn you never asked for? We all have seasons we wouldn’t have chosen. And in those places, we have a choice. We can build idols that keep us focused on the hurt, the disappointment, and what we can’t control — or we can build altars that remind us of the faithfulness of God. What we feel in a difficult season doesn’t change what is true about God. He has been faithful. He is faithful. And if He has carried us this far, we can trust Him with what comes next. Sometimes faith looks like putting a marker in the ground and saying, “I don’t know what happens from here, but I know who has helped me get here.”
