Team One is made up of people who use their gifts and talents to make Journey Church a friendly, passionate, and well-connected local church. Whether it's setting up equipment on Sundays, helping in a Kids class, or leading a Group,
God has a place for you where your unique abilities and passions can touch the lives of others.

STEP TWO | MEET A TEAM LEADER

After you apply, we'll schedule a quick interview with one our team leaders to hear your story, find out about your talents, and get you placed on a team.

STEP THREE | BACKGROUND CHECK

Safety is a high priority at Journey Church. We conduct background checks (at no cost to you) for certain teams. Background check results don't necessarily preclude you from serving on a team.

STEP FOUR | TRAIN & SERVE

Once you're on a team, we'll get you scheduled and connect you with members of the team. You'll learn the ins and outs of that team and build community while serving others.

TEAMS

Here are brief descriptions of the teams that serve across the landscape of Journey Church.

GREETERS: This team opens doors, shakes hands, and personally greets everyone who comes to Journey.

SEATERS: This team focuses on welcoming guests to our Worship Center, and making sure everyone has a seat.

WORSHIP: This is a team of talented and passionate musicians and vocalists who lead our congregation in worship on Sunday mornings and other Journey events.

JOURNEY KIDS: Our kids team creates a clean and safe environment for our kids. This team takes care of families, leads worship with kids, and makes the Bible come to life for students of all ages. *Background Check Required*

JOURNEY YOUTH: This team invests in relationships with middle school and high school students and disciples teenagers who are the church of tomorrow and today. *Background Check Required*

PRODUCTION: This team handles on-screen visuals (ProPresenter), audio engineering, and lighting production to craft an experience for people to fully engage in all aspects of services. This team also curates what is happening in person, and streams it to our online campus by the positions of producer and camera.

MEDIA: This team captures moments and brings the world into them through photography and videography.

ONLINE HOST: This team welcomes our online campus, prays with people, and creates an engaging environment for people all over the world.

PRAYER: This team prays with individuals and families, listens to stories, and shares encouraging words.

PARKING TEAM: This team directs traffic on a Sunday morning to ensure safety in our parking lot and makes sure everyone has a parking spot.

COMMUNITY GROUP HOSTS: Group hosts create community throughout the city by bringing people together in small groups throughout the week.

COMPASSION TEAM: Our compassion team creates meals for families and individuals during major life events and needs.

Project Rising Hope Food Pantry: exists to bring hope to our community, through relationships, by serving to meet practical and spiritual needs.
