Love It Out

Feb 22, 2026    Pastor Rachel Peters

1 Corinthians 13 isn’t just a passage for weddings; it’s a mirror.

In this message, we take an honest look at the foundation of our faith: love. Scripture makes it clear that spiritual gifts, deep knowledge, bold faith, and even big sacrifices don’t mean anything if love isn’t the motivation behind them. Chapter 13 defines what real, biblical love looks like; patient, kind, humble, steady, and selfless. And it’s not just a standard we’re supposed to try to reach. It’s how God loves us.

The world won’t recognize us as followers of Jesus because of how much we know or how busy we stay in church. They’ll know by how we love people.

Pastor Rachel invites us to stop trying to “love better” in our own strength and instead receive God’s love daily; because when we actually experience His mercy, grace, and patience toward us, it changes how we treat everyone else.

If you’ve ever felt the tension between knowing what love should look like and struggling to live it out, this one’s for you.
