Worship Team
What areas can I serve in?
Worship opportunities include: instrumentalists (drums, keys, acoustic & electric guitar, bass) & vocalists.
How often would I serve?
Worship volunteers serve once or twice a month on Sundays for the entire day.
What is the time commitment each week?
Be consistent and on time for:
Sunday band/vocal rehearsals (6:45-7:30am)
Production service run-through (7:30-7:45am)
Pre-service prayer (7:45-8:10am)
& all 3-morning services (8:30, 10:00, & 11:30am)
What are the steps toward serving?
1. Fill out our Team One application.
2. Meet with a staff member (including an audition time).
3. Attend Journey faithfully for 3 months.
4. Go through a training.
5. Be available for scheduling for a full day Sunday.
6. Come practiced and prepared!

Sunday production service run-through (7:15-7:45am)
Pre-service prayer (7:45-8:10am)
& 2-morning services (8:30 & 10:00am)

Prayer ministry opportunities include: altar prayer team, men’s & women’s intercessory prayer groups, and special prayer services.
How often would I serve?
Altar prayer teams are scheduled one Sunday every month or every other month and serve for all three services on Sundays.
What is the time commitment?
Altar prayer teams are expected to be at pre-service prayer (7:45-8:10 am) their scheduled Sunday and serve for all 3-Sunday services (8:30, 10:00, & 11:30 am).
Intercessory prayer groups meet bi-weekly or monthly at various times.
What are the steps toward serving?
1. Fill out our Team One application.
2. Meet with a prayer director.
3. Having attended Journey faithfully for 3 months, be available to be scheduled for a full day on Sunday.
